| Interventional Cardiology : is the specialized branch of cardiology that treats coronary artery disease with balloon angioplasty and stenting, therapies that unblock clogged arteries that supply blood to the heart, stop heart attacks and relieve angina, or chest pain. To perform angioplasty, doctors, called interventional cardiologists, must have extra training to learn how to thread a small, flexible tube, or catheter, with an uninflated balloon on its tip, from an artery in the groin to the blockage. At the blockage, they inflate the balloon to push open the blockage and restore blood flow through the artery. They may also guide a stent, a tiny mesh tube, to the point of the blockage to “prop open” the artery. |

| Pediatric Surgery : If your child has an illness, injury, or disease that requires surgery, a Pediatrics Surgeon has the experience and qualifications to treat your child. Surgical problems seen by pediatric surgeons are often quite different from those commonly seen by adult or general surgeons. Special training in pediatric surgery is important. Pediatrics surgeons treat children from the newborn stage through late adolescence. They choose to make pediatric care the core of their medical practice, and the unique nature of medical and surgical care of children is learned from advanced training and experience in practice. |

General Surgery : It involves round the clock presence of surgeons in hospitals in case of emergency surgeries. Aakash's general surgeons are experienced, highly qualified surgeons who are well supported by resident doctors. Laparoscopic Surgery : It is also called minimally invasive surgery (MIS), band-aid surgery, keyhole surgery is a modern surgical technique in which operations in the abdomen are performed through small incisions (usually 0.5-1.5cm) as compared to larger incisions needed in traditional surgical procedures. Laparoscopic surgery includes operations within the abdominal or pelvic cavities, Gall Bladder, Appendix and hernias. |

| Plastic Surgery : is derived from greek word "plastikos" which means "to mould".Plastic surgery helps to mould any disfigured part of the body. Any physical disfigurement, whether from birth or acquired later, leaves behind a mental and emotional scar too. Till a few years back, this curse of ugliness was considered an unavoidable life-long stigma. But in today's modern era, unattractiveness cannot be accepted as a curse and aged look is no longer considered as a sign of wisdom. Aesthetic surgery, a surgical science to beautify one's appearance (popularly known as cosmetic surgery), has developed to a stage where it can now dare to give finishing touches to god's most beautiful creation-the human body. |
